We are seeking a Medical Collections Representative for a well-established specialty healthcare company located in Lexington, MA. This is a 100% in-office, temporary opportunity paying $24/hour flexible weekday hours between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The role is critical in managing patient accounts, resolving insurance claims, and ensuring compliance with healthcare billing regulations. Free onsite parking is available, or employees may take a convenient shuttle from Alewife Station for a small fee. Key Responsibilities: Manage and resolve outstanding patient accounts and insurance claims. Ensure timely, accurate billing and compliance with payer requirements. Follow up on claim remittance advice, denials, and correspondence to expedite payments. Collaborate with pharmacy and administrative teams to resolve reimbursement issues. Maintain HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient information. Meet daily and monthly productivity and closing goals. Candidate Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of experience in home infusion billing/collections preferred. Strong knowledge of insurance terms, HCPC/CPT codes, and medical billing practices.
