Description

This Permit Specialist position involves processing permit applications, ensuring compliance with local codes & regulation. Customer service, maintaining company relationships with customers. Assemble and submit permit applications for mobile homes, track approvals, and scan completed project files into storage Create correspondence, reports, and other necessary documents Receive, review, and process permit applications for residential mobile home and commercial projects. Ensure applications meet local, state, and federal building codes Maintain accurate digital and physical records of permits, inspections, and invoices Guide applicants on permit requirements, fees, timelines, and procedures Monitor pending permits, follow up on missing documentation, and ensure timely issuance Generate reports on permit activities, fees collected, and processing timelines Operate a computer efficiently, with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm Function effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask and support special client requests Other duties as assigned, this is most important since we are a small business. Work is normally performed in our office. Monday - Friday 9AM - 6PM Background & Drug Test required
