Part-Time Bookkeeper / Office Manager Location: San Diego, CA Hours: Part-Time (15 hours per week) Potential to transition into a full-time position We are a small, private school in San Diego seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our team. This is a part-time position (15 hours per week) with the potential to grow into a full-time role. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working​ with people in a friendly, mission-driven educational environment. Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable (daily invoicing and ​payment processing) Handle accounts payable (bill payments, vendor coordination) Prepare and submit payroll (via external payroll service) Maintain employee records and assist with staff onboarding/offboarding Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions Interface with local government agencies and insurance companies Ensure administrative and financial procedures are followed Requirements: Working knowledge of QuickBooks (required) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Punctual, dependable, and professional demeanor Must be able to pass a background check Prior experience in bookkeeping and/or office management preferred To Apply: Please send your resume and ​hourly rate requirement
