Installs new HVAC units in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Installs duct work and thermostats to control HVAC system. Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly. Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units. Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units. Complies with company and industry safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: MUST HAVE 2+ years of residential HVAC experience. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools. Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent mechanical skills. Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required. Two years of related experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Physically able to work on HVAC units. Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Benefits Compensation: $80K-$150K/Year

This is an hourly position and yes we pay overtime, provide paid sick days, etc. PLEASE NOTE: This job requires you to drive a box truck to New York City and back every day. You must have a flexible schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Deliver, load and unload job-related materials and equipment to job sites and back to shop in company provided vehicles. Vehicles include: Box Truck, For lifts, Van, Pickup trucks, etc. · Assist with the maintenance work, cleaning and repairs for company vehicles and equipment of all types to ensure all are in working order. · Inspect material upon delivery to the warehouse to identify any damage. · Record and report the material amount or count received. · Operate material handling equipment such as hand jacks, wheeled carts and forklifts safely and as needed. · Lift, carry and move material and equipment as needed. · Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables. · Maintain and ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and organized. · Work effectively to meet or exceed schedule goals while maintaining high quality standards. · Maintain clean driving record and abide by all transportation laws. · Be mindful of parking work vehicles when on job site and back at shop to avoid tickets and penalties. · Must be able to handle multiple tasks and to work independently. · Must be able to work early mornings · Be able to work nights and weekends when necessary. · Keep records/logs of vehicles and equipment. · Must be a team player both in the field, in the shop and in an office environment. · Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity. Basic Qualifications · Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check. · High school diploma or equivalency certificate. · Prior experience in the construction field a plus · Must be on-time and show up each and every day.
