Description

We are looking for a motivated and personable Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our in-store team in New York City. In this role, you’ll focus on customer-facing sales and service—assisting walk-in shoppers, guiding them through telecom product options, and helping them make confident purchasing decisions. Your primary focus will be building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth through excellent in-person service. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner Listen to customer needs and recommend telecom products and services such as, Mobile plans, internet packages, device upgrades and add-on features Clearly explain telecom service features, pricing, and promotions to help customers make informed decisions Guide customers through the full sales process, from first conversation to purchase or service activation Operate the point-of-sale system to process payments, handle service sign-ups, and apply discounts or upgrades Build rapport with new and returning customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business Collaborate with fellow team members to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets Stay up to date on product updates, plan changes, network features, and promotional offerings through training Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Prior in-person sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment for the duration of your shift Ability to use POS systems and basic digital tools (training provided) Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site at our NYC location What We Offer Hourly base pay ($19–$25/hour) plus weekly bonuses based on performance Full-time schedule (W2 employee) Paid training and product education Advancement opportunities within the customer service and sales team A supportive, team-oriented sales environment (no high-pressure tactics) Work Setting: Face-to-face, in-store customer service and sales Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
