We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to assist in the day-to-day growth and operations of YourChoiceCharities.com, a for-profit auction platform that supports charitable causes. While we serve nonprofits, we are not a nonprofit ourselves — and cannot legally accept volunteer labor without paying at least minimum wage. This is a paid position with unique growth potential. What You’ll Be Doing: Contacting local and national nonprofits by phone, email, and regular mail to invite them to participate on our platform. Photographing and listing items on our auction site, similar to how listings are created on eBay. Writing clear and appealing descriptions of items for auction. Assisting with general office, outreach, or support tasks as needed. This is a ground-level position with the potential to expand into a full-time role with: Profit-sharing options, and Equity (stock ownership) in the company for the right long-term candidate. What We Offer: Minimum wage to start, with all hours fully tracked and accrued. A written promissory note guaranteeing the agreed-upon final wage owed beyond minimum wage to be paid at a later date. Flexible part-time hours as we scale. A front-row seat in the launch and growth of a mission-driven business. Requirements: Willingness to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks in a timely, dependable manner. Strong communication skills — especially when speaking with nonprofits and supporters. Basic tech/computer literacy, including uploading photos and writing descriptions online. Willingness to sign a Letter of Confidentiality. The Fine Print (But Important): This is not a volunteer position. Because we are a for-profit company, we are required by law to pay you at least minimum wage. You will be compensated fairly, and we’ll also sign a written agreement guaranteeing the remainder of your pay based on what we mutually agree upon during hiring. If you're looking for a meaningful project with future growth, and you're okay with a delayed wage structure and being part of something at the ground level, we’d love to hear from you.
