The Project Manager will be responsible for Job Order Contracting Projects with various clients and the project team. Projects will be primarily with public agencies The Project Manager will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with repeat clients in Higher Ed, PK-12 Education, Municipal, and Recreation.   Assigned Responsibilities: This position is a managerial position responsible for contracts and/or work orders that reports to the General Manager. Create a project team atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork amongst its members Responsible for client management for the assigned contracts Management of the team assigned to those contracts which will include Superintendents and depending on size Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers Responsible for the management of the entire contract from proposals to close out. Ability to take off quantities, develop price estimates using prescribed unit price catalogs, submit a complete proposal package and negotiate scope and price proposals with client. Responsible for the P/L of the contract Ability estimate, schedule, purchase Active participant in project quality and safety programs Collaborate with staff to provide alternative solutions for clients Collaborate and monitor Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders Point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more Firm understanding of General Contracting and all divisions of work Create and maintain project cost and management reports Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s) Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements Other duties as assigned *Assigned responsibilities may include any or all the above Requirements B.S in Construction Management or Engineering and / or 5-10 years of construction experience. Well versed in Job Order Contracts Experience of various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM@Risk is preferred. Experience in Higher Ed, PK-12 Education, Municipal, and Recreation markets is preferred. Experience in the aviation market is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously. Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management. Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project, CM14 and/or Procore Knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary. F.H. Applicants shall have 20+ years of experience in civil engineering design and have interest in site and public infrastructure design, sustainability, and development services. This position will lead and manage a wide variety of project types, striving to integrate design and develop projects from conceptual planning to coordination of project efforts and through to approvals of design and construction. Specific, current knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. Key Responsibilities: *Lead and develop projects from conceptual planning to coordination of project development through design, agency approvals, and construction. *Perform code analysis and research on technical aspects of a project. *Plan, organize, and coordinate with the project team. *Interact with clients and agency staff to attain design and permit approvals for the vision of the project and technical solutions. *Oversight and mentoring civil staff on the various professional and technical related efforts. Qualifications: *Ability to lead a team on projects through design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases. *Technical experience and understanding, especially with large-scale site development projects. *Experience with fast-track, advanced-tech projects is a plus. *Communication skills when working with clients, firm staff, and agency personnel. *Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus. *Licensure, or ability to be licensed, in Washington, Oregon, and/or California, is required.
