Sorrel Restaurant seeking a skilled and passionate hospitality professional to join our team as both Sommelier and Captain. This dual role requires someone who can seamlessly balance exceptional tableside service with expert wine knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to provide warm and attentive service as a captain as well as knowledgeable and confident beverage recommendations as a sommelier.   Captain Duties: Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service throughout the guest experience. Uphold service standards, timing, and presentation. Maintain poise under pressure Effectively manage multiple tables Sommelier Duties: Extensive knowledge of all wines by the glass, beverage pairings, low-proof cocktails, and zero-proof offerings, with the ability to guide guests' selections Knowledge of regions, producers, bottlings, and vintages represented on the list Receiving and stocking beverage orders Preparation & batching of low-proof and zero-proof beverages for service At Sorrel we strive to push the envelope when it comes to Northern California culinary excellence in a One Star Michelin setting. We’re looking for reliable, animal-loving team members to join our established and growing dog walking business in San Francisco. If you enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and spending your days with amazing dogs, this is the perfect fit. Our walkers are the heart of what we do, providing safe, fun, and dependable care that keeps both our clients and their pets happy. (Note: we only do on-leash walks max of 2 dogs at a time) Schedule: Must have availability Monday–Friday, 10 AM–4 PM (Note: most walkers do 2-4 hours of dog walking / day) Service Areas: Pacific Heights, Marina, Cow Hollow Requirements: Ability to reliably commute to the above neighborhoods Prior dog walking or pet care experience is a plus Vehicle is a plus (no animal transportation required) Physically able to walk long distances and be on your feet for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in all weather conditions Perks: Flexible schedule within business hours (walkers usually do 2-4 hours of walking per day within the 10-4 time frame) Fun, active work environment with great clients (both human and canine!)
