CNC Mill/Lathe shop looking for setup and operators. 15 cnc mills/lathes in a job shop with a good amount of repeating work but some pretty exciting new work. Please reach out. Key responsibilities of a CNC Programmer often include: Developing and optimizing CNC programs: . Creating new programs or modifying existing ones for various CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.). CAD/CAM software proficiency: . Utilizing software like Mastercam, SolidWorks, or Esprit to design and simulate machining processes. Interpreting technical drawings: . Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure accurate part production. Tool selection and setup: . Determining appropriate cutting tools and setting up machines for optimal performance. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: . Identifying and resolving issues during the machining process. Collaboration with other teams: . Working with engineers, machinists, and other personnel to ensure efficient production. Required skills and qualifications: Experience with CNC machines: Hands-on experience operating and programming various CNC machines. CAD/CAM software expertise: Proficient in using specific software for programming and simulation. Understanding of machining processes: Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and other machining parameters. Technical drawing interpretation: Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T symbols. Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes. Summary: Working as part of the Manufacturing & Operations team and under the supervision of the Chief Batching Officer, the Batching Assistant will operate equipment that blends raw materials to create food and beverage products by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients to client specifications. As needed, the Batching Assistant will also cross-train as a Production Support to operate and/or assist with production lines, including but not limited to the high-speed canning/beverage production line, the bottle filling production line, powder flavor-making production line, and labeling line to create, produce and package products while working on a team.
