Position Duties: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for new construction and renovation work on multi-million dollar construction projects, using specialized construction industry scheduling software. Liaise with engineering and construction personnel to understand and to communicate issues and conflicts that impact the construction schedule. Provide specialized scheduling services such as what-if scenarios, evaluating time impact analysis, and supporting contracting and change management teams. Assess actual progress versus planned progress to determine trends in project timelines. Conduct site visits to verify progress and to identify any potential and critical issues. Produce weekly and monthly reports that provide details on progress, actuals, forecasting, and explanations of variances. Analyze trends and develop options for corrective action, including performing an analysis of various alternatives and presenting recommendations to project and program management. Participate in constructibility and risk analysis. Conduct “delay fragnet” analyses in claim assessments and negotiations. Generate reports and analyze data to support project monitoring and decision-making. Communicate schedule status regularly via formal and informal meetings and reports. Analyze CPM schedules and recommend work-arounds and schedule improvement ideas. Perform Forensic Schedule Delay Analysis. Implement project controls tools and methodology. Participate in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Develop and maintain detailed cost control systems. Supervise and train new team members, including Schedulers. Participate in company meetings as part of a leadership team. Required to work at the company's headquarters at 330 Uluniu Street, Suite 203, Kailua, HI 96734 and at a secondary location at 1050 Queen Street, Suite 302, Honolulu, HI 96814. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field required. A foreign equivalent degree will be accepted. Must have at least 84 months of progressive experience in Construction Scheduling in the construction or engineering industry. This experience must culminate as a Senior Scheduler conducting simultaneous construction scheduling for multiple $20+ million construction or engineering projects. Must have at least 84 months of experience with the Primavera (P6) software. Must have experience with Turbo Chart and Microsoft Project. Must have prior experience overseeing a team of construction schedulers and planners.
