Modern Family Law is growing, and we are looking for talented attorneys to join our team!  We are currently offering a $15,000 signing bonus!  Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a Remote Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Seattle, WA office (remote but must reside in Washington to attend hearings or meet with clients in the office).  Unlike other law firms, Modern Family Law offers you the following opportunities:  Remote Setting with a Brick & Mortar Space Available Low billable hours requirement (100 per month).  Direct client contact.  The ability to truly develop substantive litigation skills early in your career.  The satisfaction of meaningfully impacting people’s lives.  Competitive compensation and benefits.  Cutting-edge technology.  Learning and development support, including onsite and in-person.  To be successful in this role, the Family Law Associate Attorney will:  Be adept at handling a variety of family law cases, such as divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.  Be comfortable with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, and handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations.  Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.  Work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting, ensuring collective success.  Mandatory Notices for Applicants  ADA Compliance: All candidates and incumbents are expected to perform the duties as assigned so long as they can meet the expectations set forth with or without reasonable accommodations. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Deputy Sheriff
The Blair County Sheriff's Office seeks three full-time deputies to enforce state and local laws relating to public safety and public welfare. Essential duties include providing law enforcement, order, and security duties for courthouse entrance, judges, courtrooms, airport, and personnel; patrolling throughout Blair County in a cruiser for the purpose of observing area for possible criminal activity or other conditions that could endanger public safety; enforcing on-view violations of Pennsylvania Crimes Code and Pennsylvania Vehicle Code; apprehending, arresting, and detaining criminal suspects and law violators; serving bench warrants, writs, summonses, executions, court notices, subpoenas, civil papers, and/or protection from abuse orders; completing daily activity reports; transporting and supervising prisoners; maintaining required level of proficiency in use of firearms and driving skills; and maintaining confidentiality of department dealings. Requirements Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; successfully complete academic and physical requirements to graduate from Pennsylvania Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Education and Training Program or of a municipal or state police training academy within 12 months of placement into position if without certificate at hire; possess a minimum of one year's work experience; be at least 21 years old at time of employment; possess proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills; strong customer service orientation; and have no state or federal convictions for a crime punishable by imprisonment in a state or federal prison (includes domestic violence).
