A specialist dental office, located near U-Village and Children’s Hospital, is seeking a full-time dental assistant. Working hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm. This constitutes a full-time job with full benefits. Experience working in a health care environment is beneficial. You must know, or be able to learn and apply, hygiene, disinfection, and sterilization theories and protocols. You must be organized and able to prioritize and focus upon tasks. Requirements: • Master’s or Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine • NCCAOM board certification in acupuncture and Chinese medicine • WA state acupuncture license • Proficiency in Chinese herbal medicine • Must carry malpractice insurance Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experienced preferred • Post-graduate education courses on fertility or women's health • ABORM board certified or interest in working towards certification is a plus • Point injection certified in WA state or interest in getting certified Responsibilities: • Provide specialized acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine prescriptions for fertility and women’s healthcare • Offer comprehensive Chinese medicine healthcare services for general health and pain management • Maintain meticulous patient records Benefits: • Part-time employee position with a 40/60 split • 10% Commission for Chinese herbs, supplements, PIT, products sold • 4 Paid Holidays • 2 weeks PTO • Mentorship & training in fertility & women's health • Consistent hours, with some flexibility around the creation of the ideal schedule Hours available now Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
