Responsibilities include preparing bubble tea drinks, cooking pearls/toppings, maintaining a clean work area, and providing friendly customer service. Real Kitchen at Walden runs the in-house food program for Walden, one of Chicago's premier event venues. We are looking for experienced servers to join our service team for a busy upcoming wedding season. We believe in fair pay and full benefits, and want this job to be sustainable for our staff. Most shifts are 7-9 hours, with additional tips at the customer's discretion (avg $15+/hr in tips), 4% 401k match with immediate vesting, and 50% employee only match on health and dental insurance for those who take every available shift. We have 2-3 wedding events booked most weekends for the majority of the year, before getting into weekday corporate and fundraiser events. Applicants must have weekend availability, no exceptions. Responsibilities will include set-up and break down of the events, cocktail hour service, and dinner service.
