1966 Volkswagen VW SO42 Westfalia Walk Through Camper Bus - $25 - $25 (Seattle)

address5505 S Langston Rd, Seattle, WA 98178, USA

Description

Odometer at 49,000. Velvet Green SO42 Westfalia Walk through. $25,000 Runs: original engine full rebuild in Ballard by the pros Transmission good, clutch new Brakes are new and are okay, feel a little squishy but they work Tires are super tready, hankooks Rare and oridinal roof rack, comes with the bus, will not separate! I have 3 hub caps, 2 are in the parts boxes, one is in place I do not have the Childs cot or the original tent but the exterior tent rails and cot hooks are in place Need: Body work, body is in rough shape but has some solid parts. Roof is really good shape Canvas for Pop top Passenger seat Passenger side mirror (in a box, just needs to be put on) Rear bumper Spare Tire, I don't have one, never came with bus. probably more, but it is a running bus I've done my best to keep it original. Comes with original tool roll. I have tons of parts to go with this, some metal too. Included in the parts are elephant mirrors, the original heater (removed and in a box), a full bench seat (split bench, currently the short seat is placed in the passenger seat and we've taken trips like this), spice rack (I think it goes to a riviera camper) and lots of cables and original parts that I don't know much about (they came with the bus). I kept all these parts even though they may not go to this bus for potential trades or sales. I have a brand new clutch plate, and I think new spark plugs, brakes too because I always wanted to be ready in case something went awry on a trip. you will also find a sapphire radio in the parts boxes, collected but untested. I've only ever rode around Washington State but originally this bus came from Pennsylvania. there is one hole in the floor at the passenger side, currently I have it shored up with a flat piece of aluminum, works well. Cut dash, came that way, not my choice, had a clock in there, I still have the clock, in the parts box I've owned it for the last 20 something years, it's been in storage for the last 10 not getting much use. Life changes, now it's time to pass the torch to someone who can continue to enjoy it and make it even greater. Sold in as-is condition. Runs well
