NORTH COUNTY SAN DIEGO The Groutsmith San Diego is a national tile and grout cleaning, repair and restoration company. We are hiring new technicians who can help with our busy, ever-growing business. We pride ourselves on revitalizing our customers’ worn and aged tile and grout. We sometimes have small tile work needed. Our customers love our cleaning and restoration services we provide on floors, showers and counters. Most of our jobs are in North County San Diego and you will need to drive to each job daily. PART TIME POSITION. TILE AND GROUT OR MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED. The current PART-TIME to FULL TIME position is 5 days per week, approximately 8:30am -- 3:30pm or until our job is completed. Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, until you are fully trained and able to take on more work independently. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their time effectively and be detailed in their work. Work responsibilities are: - Cleaning and sealing tile and grout on floors, counter tops, showers, etc. in residential and commercial properties. -Use of hand tools - Caulking, grout sealing and possible re-grouting of small areas - Install, reset, repair small tiled and grout areas - Final clean-up and inspection of work - Customer-service oriented Requirements/Qualifications: - Motivated, Reliable, Team Player, Fast Learner - Must be on time to work - Clean appearance - Work independently - Follows Instructions - Strong Attention to Detail - Organized - Takes pride and ownership of work MUST have a valid California driver's license, Reliable working automobile to drive to the job(s) each day, Valid California Auto Insurance, Clean Driving Record, written and spoken English, be physically fit enough to lift 50 pounds. This position is responsible for taking photographs of vehicles to support online sales efforts. These images will be published online at marketplace.autura.com.Vehicle images will need to be taken within specific parameters set out by the Autura Marketplace team. These vehicles are located at different tow yards across given region that you will be expected to drive to. You will be required to take 8-10 photos per vehicle. This position is considered remote, but you will need to drive to each assigned project. You must have a smartphone and vehicle to apply (you will be using your smartphone to take the vehicle images & you are expected to drive to each assigned project). Availability: 15-20 hours per week Pay: $10 per vehicle Job Responsibilities: Capture and process electronic images of vehicles at tow yards across a given region. Ability to lift vehicle hoods for engine pictures and crouch for catalytic converter pictures. Ability to walk around in all weather conditions for up to 2 hours or more. Qualifications : High School Diploma/GED Basic computer software skills are preferred. Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field. 1 year of experience in photography preferred; experience in digital and computer processing a plus. 1 year of car mechanic experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity. Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
