Seeking non-drug, non-alcohol person for full-time work at a poultry and beef cattle farm in Elkton, VA. Looking for honest and dependable worker to manage daily operations of poultry and beef cattle farm. 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, and rotate weekends. Fair and competitive wages based on experience. Must have a positive attitude with good communication skills. Ideal candidate will be honest and dependable. A valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Must have mechanical ability to make small repairs on poultry equipment and be able to operate most farm equipment. Must be able to feed livestock and put round bales of hay out for cattle. Pay depends on experience, with bonus and potential raise depending on proven work ethic and performance. DVP Cleaning Ambassador Job Description / Duties The Cleaning Ambassador will serve primarily in a custodial service capacity with a secondary role as a public information resource to district visitors, workers, shoppers and residents. Unless otherwise specified, areas of responsibility for all Cleaning Ambassadors will include all pedestrian public rights of way, the sidewalks from the building line to the curb and alleys adjoining benefiting properties of the District Area from the building line to the opposing building line. Activities of all Cleaning Ambassadors may include: • Manual Removal of Litter & Debris - Circulate through assigned work zone with a push cart or electric cart containing supplies and tools to take care of the following tasks: Removal of litter, trash, and debris, and extending a distance of 18 inches beyond the curb into the street or alley, by mechanical or manual means, including: all types of paper, cigarette packages and butts, leaves, gravel or rocks, cans, cardboard, boxes, plastic refuse, bottles, broken glass, beverage spills, urine, feces, vomit, and any dead animals. • Mechanical Cleaning - Using the District’s mechanical cleaning devices to clean sidewalks and remove debris and litter from public pedestrian rights of way (including sidewalks, pedestrian skywalks and alleys) and tree wells. Specific Clean Team members shall be hired and trained by Contractor to be the primary operators of the mechanical cleaning devices. Only in the event of an extreme emergency should other members of the Clean Team be permitted to operate the machines. • Hospitality & Customer Service - while on an assigned route you will go out of the way to actively acknowledge pedestrians with a friendly greeting or identify visitors in order to provide directions, information, city information, or recommendations. We go out of our way to engage with visitors and foot traffic to make Downtown Ventura warm and inviting. • Observe & Report - while on your assigned route be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to Park Ambassadors via two-way radios. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and other similar identifiers. • Professionalism - must maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and DVP standards of expected professionalism. Maintenance Technician for Vacation Rental Company
Helios Vacation Rentals is looking to hire a part-time experienced handyman for our team. We have 30 vacation rentals throughout Coachella Valley from Palm Springs to Indio. Schedule is approximately 25 hours per week depending on the season. Schedule is flexible and mostly during the week between 8am-5pm. Availability during weekends or evenings in case of emergency repairs is a must. Pay is $30/ hr during the first month probation period, and then $35/hr thereafter. Responsibilities: - Perform general maintenance and repairs on within vacation rental properties. - Repairs include but are not limited to: basic plumbing, caulking, basic electrical work, drywall repair, small paint jobs, furniture installation and repair, hanging art work and tvs, repairing appliances like dishwashers and stoves, installing cameras, doorbells and door locks etc. - Address and resolve handyman-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Communicate effectively in English with property management and guests regarding maintenance needs. - Document all work and travel time between vacation homes Requirements: Must live within Coachella Valley Must have prior work experience as a maintenance tech.
