La Bonne is a busy, casual French bistro in between Central Park and Rockefeller Center and steps from Fifth Avenue. Near the F, QRW, and EM train lines. We are seeking an energetic and positive individual with good knowledge of hospitality to create a pleasant experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should be very familiar with Resy. We require that the candidate have an outgoing personality and a can-do attitude! JOB REQUIREMENTS: As the first point of contact with guests -- the Host/Hostess position is integral to setting the tone at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess most or all of the below competencies: * 2+ years of New York City experience in casual/ fine dining restaurants. * Phone skills and customer service * Ability to perform with maximum efficiency under a high-pressure/volume environment. * Passion for the industry with a "wow the guest" mentality. * The ability to embrace and foster a diverse clientele. * Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual. * Full-time and flexible hours are required (able to week days, nights, weekends, and holidays). * Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time We only accept resumes by email.
