We have the perfect the DSP-Caregiver position for you. We have a morning shift 8am-2pm on Saturday & Sunday (every other week) plus an overnight shift 10pm-8am (every week). Includes overtime and double overtime hours. A permanent position could be available following the temporary position depending on circumstances! We are KB Way Supported Living Services in San Diego. We support a young man with Autism and Epilepsy in his own home in the Clairemont area. We have 2 staff every shift where you and your co-worker will support him in his home and community. If you don’t have experience with Autism or Epilepsy or both, yet have a willingness to learn, we’re there to support and educate you in these areas. The MRDC Bus Driver provides safe bus transportation for Head Start children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule daily. Bus Drivers: Transport assigned children to and from Head Start centers efficiently and safely. Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts or are placed in appropriate (age or weight) car seats and belted in. Ensure that any behavioral issues do not compromise the safety of any child on the bus. Ensure that each child is delivered to the care of a responsible adult (on the authorized list) upon leaving the bus. Ensure that no child is ever left unattended while on the bus, following all procedures put in place to prevent a child being left behind. Visually observe the health of each child on the bus. Essential Functions Humane Education Present and facilitate educational programs, on site and in the community. Conduct educational tours of facilities. Plan and lead summer camp programming. Develop and implement humane education programs, curriculum, and activities. Adapt the progression of activities to meet the needs of the individual and/or group. Practice safe handling during animal interactions with children and guests. Perform administrative duties to support department programs such as answering calls and emails, scheduling and booking programs, taking payments, submitting and cancelling registrations, running reports, printing, cutting, laminating, and ordering supplies. Provide care for the animals designated for use in educational programs and pick up food and supplies for the animals as needed. Communication Communicate in a positive and professional manner with customers, other employees, and volunteers. Technology Utilize registration software for educational programs. Clock in and out of shifts using ADP. Monitor AHS email and other messaging software. Other duties as assigned.
