We are looking for an Equipment Yard Laborer/Driver to join our team. RDF Builders is proud to offer special training to our employees to help meet job requirements. This position is based in Seattle, Washington. You will be expected to perform your work by: - Maintaining and cleaning the equipment yard as necessary. Use walk-behind sweepers to clear away debris in main yard. - Pressure wash around the yard and buildings to remove accumulated moss and dirt. - Load and unload tools and equipment into trucks for delivery. Assist others in returning tools and equipment to designated locations. - Make delivery runs to multiple jobsites. May ride along on deliveries/pick-ups of equipment and materials when assistance is necessary. - Prepare equipment returned from jobsites for service. Clean equipment as necessary, pressure washing when required. - Work directly with mechanic to determine where equipment is to be staged while waiting for service. - Assist with cleanup of the yard and shop. Maintain an organized equipment storage warehouse without clutter, trip hazards, or any other potential safety issue. - Sweep equipment storage warehouse floor daily. - Assist with washing and detailing of delivery vehicles on a weekly basis. - Always work safe. Looking for both Journeyman Manual Machinist as well as those interested in Apprentice Manual Machinist. About: Propulsion Systems, Inc. is a repair Facility located in South Seattle. We provide Field Service Engineers & Manufacturing for Controllable Pitch Propellers, Thrusters, PTO's, Shaft Brakes, Electronic and Pneumatic Controls for marine applications. Performs simple fabrication processes Requirements: • Ability to machine a variety of metals such as 300 and 400 series stainless steels, brass, copper, steel, composites, and exotic alloys • Prior machining experience (3+ years for Journeyman level applications) • Prior experience with set up and operation of manually controlled machines (3+ years for Journeyman level applications) • Prior experience reading and interpreting blueprints (2+ years for Journeyman level applications) • Experience using precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment • Rigging experience using safe practices • Good communication skills • Knowledge of setting up and operating manual lathes and mills • Track record of being able to provide high quality work in a fast-paced environment • Plan, layout, set-up, operate and make tool adjustments to cut and shape all types of metals and synthetics using manual (e.g., lathes, millers and grinders) numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment • Strong focus on accuracy and quality in work, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. • Clear communication skills, Patience, Eye for details

Cat Sitting Hotels in West Seattle needs one or two more part time staff members, for work as a receptionist, scheduler, email correspondence, customer service, Cat Care inc. - scooping, cleaning, feeding, some medicating, interaction, attention, etc. . At least 8 years of work experience required (not necessarily in pet care). Must have transportation, and live in West Seattle or be within 15 to 20 minutes of. It would be 2 (to sometimes 3) days/shifts per week, for around 4, 5, or 6 hours per time (depends on you and your availability!). There's a morning shift that's usually from 8:30 or 9 am to 2 or 3 pm and in the evening it's 4 or 4:30 pm to 8, 8:30, or 9 pm. One shift would be over the weekend and one weekday-probably Thursday or Friday evening. Future increases and opportunities possibly exist (if desired). Should be outgoing and into good customer service, organized, self motivated, and able to assist with- scheduling reservations, taking phone calls, replying to emails, taking - editing - and emailing guest cats pictures (no photography experience necessary), and also very willing and able to get down and dirty to clean up after our guest felines, including scooping litter boxes, changing and cleaning out litter boxes, cleaning things up such as vomit, and thoroughly sanitizing and preparing kitty suites for new guests (maid service for cats!), and other overall cleaning.
