What you’ll do: Supervise and direct day to day aggregate processing operations including the managing, leading and training of employees on the proper operation of all aggregate processing equipment and conveyance systems. Have a full understanding of quality control associated with aggregate production including adjustments that may need to be made during the manufacturing process to ensure products produced meet or exceed the required specifications. Evaluate, problem solve, plan and organize daily production and preventative maintenance. Maintain safety and mining procedures at all times and comply with the regulations of all jurisdictional authorities (MSHA, OSHA, DOE, EPA, County, State, etc). Operate various types of heavy equipment such as front end loaders, backhoes, man-lifts, forklifts, cranes and other related equipment that may be necessary to safely and efficiently complete the job. Perform various tasks with basic hand, electric, pneumatic and computerized tools. Approves purchases of material that may be necessary to complete assigned duties and tasks. Have the ability to fabricate with steel or materials provided. Extensive work with a shovel. Have basic plumbing skills and knowledge of electrical (120, 240 & 480 volt). Be able to perform tasks at high elevations. Work in tight or confined spaces. Wear a full face mask respirator in dusty environments. Operate equipment: loader, backhoe, man-lift, forklift, excavator, dozer etc. Perform tasks with basic hand tools.
