FedEx Team Driver (Sacramento, CA) At JAK Logistics, we are seeking one full time professional Class A team driver with doubles endorsement for our dedicated Tracy, CA to Tucumcari, NM bump run. No owner operators, you must be a FedEx approved driver. First come, first serve for this run. This position will fill quickly. Starting on Tuesdays, this run completes two turns from the Tracy FedEx hub to Tucumcari, NM to meet a bump team where you will swap trailers and return back to Tracy. The truck is parked in Sacramento so you will bobtail to Tracy to start the week then bobtail back to Sacramento to end the week. You are paid for that commute each way. If you choose to run out of Tracy, no problem. Your codriver will meet you in Tracy. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM position where you will be home weekly. Driver must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. This is accomplished by maintaining designated route schedules; assisting passengers; handling and controlling disruptive passengers; recognizing and resolving circumstances or events that impact proper operation; inspecting coaches; completing reports; collecting fares; inspecting passes; and providing special assistance to disabled passengers. Duties may vary based on route, physical demands, equipment and clientele. Other duties include performing special service duties and other special assignments per dispatch.
