DOG WALKER & PET SITTER W/ PERSONAL VEHICLE (Oakland/East Bay)

**DOG WALKER/ PET SITTER NEEDED** Adventures in Dog Walking is a Bay Area based company established in 2008 by my Wife and I out of a desire to give dogs the care they deserve! We operate in San Francisco and Oakland/East Bay providing group walks, pet sitting, one-on-one and group training. We walk in public wooded parks and use our personal vehicles to transport dogs from their homes to and from the park. We are looking for a trustworthy and responsible individual that we can grow and build with as we are an expanding business! -we are looking to fill this position on a 2-3 day a week basis as well to someone who would be open to working more days when we are unavailable /out of town. This position is in the Oakland / Berkeley area where group and private walks are conducted Monday - Friday. The group walk hours are 9:30AM-1PM followed by private walks from 1:30PM-2:30PM. -We are looking for some one to work 2-3 days a week starting at 22/hr, mileage reimbursement, sick leave and available retirement plan with the opportunity to add more days as you get trained. We also offer opportunities for additional work through additional private walks and pet sitting. Time off with ample approved notice is fine. -YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE CAPABLE OF TRANSPORTING 6-8 DOGS TO AND FROM THE PARK!! Must have a clean driving record with a valid CA drivers license. Must be open to a background check. -Must be physically able to walk for 1 hour and handle a pack of 6-8 dogs of various sizes. You MUST love the outdoors as we walk rain or shine. -We require you be able to safely pet sit up to 2 dogs at a time at your home. We would like someone with pet care experience and will give preference to those applicants. Must be patient and pay great attention to detail. Must have an absolute love and passion for working with puppers! We are a small family owned company and enjoy a great relationship with our clients.
