Hiring Immediately - Warehouse Associate with at least 3 years of recent consecutive experience in a Warehouse. Warehouse Associates needed for a Warehouse near JFK airport in Jamaica, Queens. Please note that the hour of this position fluctuates and there is no guarantee of the number of hours worked or a full 40-hour work week. The schedule varies, requiring flexibility, as some days may have longer shifts while others may be shorter. Pay: $18 an hour Key Responsibilities: Pick and pack orders. Label and prepare shipments according to company and carrier requirements. Operate warehouse equipment such as scanners. Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory. Work closely with the shipping team to meet deadlines and fulfillment goals. Keep the warehouse organized and clean. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in outbound shipping, fulfillment, or a warehouse role preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Principal Responsibilities Attend, clean, guard or patrol an assigned area or public building, property, structures and/or gates in or adjoining the zoological park to keep order and cleanliness. Assist in allocation of work assignments. May inventory, order, pick-up and allocate supplies. Protect society property by properly securing and locking various buildings, stations or gates. Perform ground maintenance work including helping with landscaping, gardening, etc. Offer aid, help and directions and information to the public. Perform custodial duties where required. Assist in the cleaning of areas other than those assigned as conditions may require. Enforce the Society's visitor rules and regulations and those of the Department of Parks of the City of New York. Perform related tasks and duties as required. Qualification Requirements Ability to represent WCS in a professional manner and to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with employees, colleagues, City and other government agencies, outside contractors, and the general public. Valid Driver’s License (preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) Physical Requirements The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions. Tasks require manual dexterity and ability to safely use tools (e.g. drill, wire cutters, computer keyboard) and operate equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, pressure washer and related custodial equipment). Some tasks require climbing, kneeling, bending, navigating uneven terrain, and moderate lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, evenings and special events as the schedule demands. We are looking for a friendly and reliable photobooth attendant to work events throughout the tri-state area. This is a part time, gig based position. As the photobooth attendant, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, setting up, operate and breaking down the photobooth equipment at various events.
