1099 Sidewalk Snow Removal (Macomb County) (Clinton Township)

D & J Contracting, Inc is looking for 1099 Sidewalk Snow Contractors for the upcoming snow season: JOB DESCRIPTION: D&J Contracting, Inc. a leader in commercial maintenance and snow and ice removal, seeks people to clear sidewalks for the winter season. This position involves clearing snow and ice at various business locations during and after snow events. Late night, early morning and weekend work are required, depending on the timing of snowfalls. Applicants must be available from the onset of each snowfall until the conclusion of tasks. Employment could lead to a summer position if desired. PAY • $30.00 -35.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum • Vehicle Allowance $75.00 • 10% Bonus at end of season for perfect Attendance. • All hand equipment and materials will be supplied RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate snow equipment to clear walkways of snow and ice. • Maintain equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for snow removal tasks. • Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others while operating equipment. • Communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and any issues that arise. QUALIFICATIONS • One year of experience is required • Strong work ethic who are responsible and responsive when snow falls. • Ability to work long hours during winter storms, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Must possess a valid driver's license. • Must have reliable transportation.
