Low Testosterone Research: Your Participation Matters Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (HH) (Low Testosterone) is a hormonal disorder caused by insufficient production of sex hormones due to a lack of stimulation from the pituitary gland. This condition results from low levels of gonadotropins—luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)—which are critical for normal reproductive development and function.
