We are looking for an experienced light duty mechanic to perform daily inspections, maintenance and repairs - greasing components, replace brakes, rotors, tie rods, center links, ball joints, belts, fluids, change tires, repair hydraulic lines, electrical, lights, repair of tow dollies for 2 locations in PG County. Must have transportation and a DOT card in order to drive/test trucks. This position would also include maintenance and repair on our line painting machines and painting during painting season. Contruction workers wanted. The Environmental Technician performs tasks including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, tank vacuuming, environmental cleanup, waste handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, pressure washing and various other remedial activities. Duties/Responsibilities: • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures. • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift. • Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights. • Operates light and heavy equipment not limited to Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, Boom Lifts, Skid Steers, Excavators, Pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles. • Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and to obtain information specific to responsibilities. • Ensures all proper paperwork is completed, signed and submitted. • Work up to a standard 40 hour work week with potential for overtime due to emergency response needs. May require out-of-town and overnight travel. Length of travel will be dependent on service location and on-going projects. • Complies with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: • Must be able to get to/from work. • Demonstrates accountability and punctuality. • Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies. • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing. • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening • Must be able to successfully complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and other mandatory trainings. • Ability to work a 40 hour shift, including days, nights, some weekends, and holidays. • Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time, overnight and on an on-call basis. • Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions. 
Education and Experience: • Valid driver's license required with clean driving record. • 6 Months Construction or Maintenance general labor experience desired but not necessary. Forklift certified is a plus. 
Physical Requirements: • Must be able to withstand exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids. • Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Must be able to wear PPE. • Must be able to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold).
