Responsibilities Ensure all food is consistently prepared and served to restaurant standards. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new menu items and specials. Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff while maintaining a positive work culture. Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in line with DOH standards. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Oversee prep, line execution, and service quality during shifts. Requirements 2–3 years of experience as a Sous Chef (or similar role) in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Experience managing inventory, labor, and food costs. Knowledge of wood-fired cooking a plus. Passion for teaching, teamwork, and great food.
