Kitchen Assistant/Delivery Driver Needed for Upscale Meal Delivery Service! 40 Dreams Catering is an upscale meal delivery service providing delicious, low-sodium, gourmet meals to discerning adults aged 50 and over. We're growing and looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our friendly team! This dual-role position is perfect for someone who loves being hands-on in the kitchen and enjoys connecting with people on delivery routes. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive their perfectly prepared, healthy, and flavorful meals right to their door. What You'll Do: Kitchen Support: Assist our Chef with food preparation, plating meals beautifully, and accurately labeling and packaging orders. You'll help maintain a spotless kitchen, always adhering to food safety regulations and our kitchen protocols. Delivery Excellence: Carefully review meal packages to ensure order accuracy before loading our refrigerated van. You'll then safely and courteously deliver meals to our clients on assigned routes, ensuring proper temperatures are maintained from our kitchen to their homes. You'll also complete necessary logs and reports. We're Looking For Someone Who Is: Culinary-Minded: Has an interest in working in a commercial kitchen and can assist with food prep and plating with precision. Customer-Focused: Possesses great customer service and oral communication skills, always being friendly and courteous. Reliable & Safe: Committed to timely deliveries, following assigned routes, and maintaining food safety through proper temperature control. A Team Player: Willing to jump in and help where needed, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. Requirements: Culinary Experience: 2 years in a professional kitchen setting.
