This position works collaboratively with University Housing Services and the University Police Department to provide patrol coverage, respond to calls for service, and ensure a safe and secure living environment for approximately 4,200 residents. This position includes nights and weekends on a rotating schedule. Work Schedule: HCSOs work three 12-hour shifts each week plus a 4-hour shift every other Wednesday. Both day and night shifts are available. Day Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Night Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Your Day Will Likely Include Performing foot patrols of housing buildings and grounds to maintain safety and visibility.
