Your responsibilities will include: Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.  Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements  Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features  Debug existing software and correct defects  Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments  Develop simple to complex data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories  Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards  Works individually or as part of a team.  Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.  Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.  Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required + Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity  Four (4) years of relevant SWE experience may be substituted for the degree   Five (5) years of experience leading and managing technical project tasks.   Experience applying agile development while maintaining smart and effective sprint cycles meeting timely deliverables.  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. TS/SCI and Special Security Accesses and Polygraph required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Ground Service Equipment Mechanic (Colorado Springs, CO)
We are a growing company seeking experienced, reliable mechanics to join our small team of GSE mechanics at the Colorado Springs Airport. You will be working on our fleet of Oshkosh Tempest i Deicers as well as a broad range of equipment entrusted to our care by our airline customers. This is not an apprenticeship level position - you should have experience and be comfortable performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment. We are a busy shop and work on many different types of machines - gasoline and diesel powered, new and old technologies. You will be working on automotive vehicles, tugs, pushbacks, trailers, air conditioning and heating carts, generators, small engines, deice trucks and more. Though we try to work indoors whenever possible, much of our work is done outdoors in various weather conditions. You should be comfortable working outdoors in the elements when necessary. 2+ years of full time mechanic experience is required for this role. We will be hiring based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with a strong resume and verifiable work history will be given preference. You must be physically capable of working in all positions, climbing, lifting and carrying heavy items, etc. We strongly prefer candidates with a background in heavy equipment such as farming or construction machinery, with at least some experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems. Some schooling and certifications may be valuable. You will work 40 hours per week in this role with possible overtime opportunities. Early mornings and/or weekends may be required.
