Position Title & Overview: The Account Manager, Publisher Success is responsible for delivering exceptional client services, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring long-term client retention. This role focuses on optimizing account performance, maximizing revenue, and fostering the success of assigned publishers. You will build strong relationships, provide proactive solutions, and identify opportunities for growth. As an Account Manager, you will advocate for publisher needs, provide data-driven insights, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless support. This position requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and a “publisher-first” mentality. Essential Responsibilities: Manage an established portfolio of publishers, focusing on retention and growth Take on new accounts, build rapport, and foster trust and long-term partnerships Proactively assess potential risks of churn and implement solutions to ensure ongoing success Advocate for publisher needs, addressing feature and data requests, reporting, and tools Use cohort data, trend analysis, and projections to provide tailored recommendations Deliver periodic business reviews and performance reports Maintain consistent and personalized communication with each publisher Monitor client social accounts to celebrate publisher successes and milestones Collaborate with Support Specialists and Engineers to resolve day-to-day issues Surface trends across accounts, ensuring key information is shared and escalated when necessary Maintain expert-level knowledge of Mediavine’s products and services to suggest relevant features Track and analyze performance results to identify opportunities for improvement Perform other duties as assigned Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events (approximately 20% of the time) Requirements Location: Applicants must be based in the United States You Have: 2+ years of experience in Customer Success or a related field  Mediavine experience preferred Experience working remotely in a distributed team environment Experience in a publisher-facing role, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships Strong proficiency with Google Suite  Experience with communication platforms like Slack  Experience working with a CRM such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc Initiative and a drive to go above and beyond for each publisher Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to tailor recommendations effectively Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks Exceptional written and verbal communication skills A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork The ability to present data persuasively and make informed recommendations Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events (approximately 20% of the time) Benefits 100% remote  Comprehensive benefits including Health, Dental, Vision and 401k match Generous paid time off  Wellness and Home Office Perks  Up to 12 weeks of paid Parental Leave  Inclusive Family Forming Benefits  Professional development opportunities  Travel opportunities for teams, our annual All Hands retreat as well as industry event Mediavine provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees. Highly detail-oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments. Positive and outgoing personality; great at building relationships. Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM database. Ability to travel on a daily basis to client locations locally.
