Front of House Manager – Job Description Position Summary The Front of House (FOH) Manager ensures that every guest at Laili Restaurant receives attentive service and a memorable dining experience. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fine-dining environment. Beyond guest-facing duties, FOH staff play an essential role in maintaining the restaurant’s operations, supporting both the kitchen and management team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Guest Service & Dining Room Operations Greet, seat, and welcome guests warmly, creating a positive first impression. Manage reservations and guest flow using OpenTable. Accurately take and process orders using the POS system. Present menus, explain specials, and make thoughtful recommendations. Deliver food and beverages promptly with correct presentation. Anticipate guest needs, handle requests, and resolve complaints professionally Assist in large party service, private events, and buy-outs. Maintain a clean, well-organized dining room, patio, and service stations. Monitor and maintain restrooms throughout service for cleanliness and supplies. Operational Support Count and maintain the cash drawer, ensuring accuracy at the beginning and end of shifts. Process DoorDash and other third-party delivery orders with accuracy and timeliness. Run occasional errands (e.g., to local stores/markets) to support the kitchen and bar. Support kitchen operations by communicating guest needs and order changes clearly. Assist with opening and closing duties, including checklists and side work. Team & Administrative Responsibilities Work collaboratively with managers, servers, hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Assist in scheduling kitchen and FOH shifts, ensuring coverage for service and events. Participate in interviewing and onboarding new FOH hires when needed. Provide feedback to management on staff performance, training needs, and workflow improvements. Uphold all health, sanitation, and safety standards, as well as responsible alcohol service requirements. Assist with marketing, generating social media posts, reels etc. Responding to reviews and ensuring guests satisfaction is at its highest standard. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. (bus tubs, trays, supplies, etc.). Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements. Ability to move quickly between indoor and outdoor dining areas. The Landscape Account Manager (AM) is a client facing position responsible for the overall client experience, as well as the leadership of assigned production crews. The AM manages his or her assigned maintenance portfolio in accordance with Yard-Nique Customer Service ideals, Quality standards and Contract protocol.   Responsibilities •Build and maintain proactive communication and positive business relationships with all clients, property managers, HOAs and other stakeholders to ensure retention in accordance with Yard-Nique standards. •Manage maintenance contracts and execute maintenance production schedules to meet or exceed contract specific expectations. •Proactively conduct property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs and client satisfaction; troubleshoot problems when necessary. Attend board meetings when requested. •Identify and provide enhancement ideas and solutions to customers, partner with Sales team in identification of new opportunities. •Manage monthly budget, reporting and account billing according to established procedures; coordinate with internal partners to ensure resolution of issues. •Maintain inventory of materials and equipment for assigned crews; report immediate needs to Branch Manager and provide accurate monthly reports, as required. •Adhere to Maintenance Division facilities opening and closing procedures. •Provide leadership to landscape maintenance crews comprised of 3-5 employees. Effectively utilize labor and other resources to adequately meet coverage plan requirements. •Oversee and direct work of Crew Leaders to ensure work is completed in an efficient manner, in accordance with established schedules. •Ensure all employee time worked is recorded accurately prior to approval. •Establish and maintain safety and security at jobsites for all employees and customers at all times. Partner with HR and senior management to report violations, hazards, and needed safety resources. •Administer all performance management tasks and activities, to include annual review process, providing on-going feedback and coaching, on-the-job training, administering discipline as needed, etc. •Partner with HR to ensure a positive employee experience from on-boarding through exit. •Work collaboratively with peers and Yard-Nique senior leadership team on various projects and initiatives. •Daily travel between properties is expected.
