Dredge Monitor Part-time, Seasonal Position(s) Santa Cruz Harbor is seeking Dredge Monitors for the upcoming 2025-26 dredging season. Provide for the safety of beach visitors and dredge crewmembers; provide information to the general public about the dredging operation; communicate using a VHF radio; and conduct air monitoring and record observations using a computer. The typical schedule runs from October 2025 through April 2026, Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays required, five-hour shifts available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We are looking for a few energetic people to fill our open part time weekend dispatcher/cashier positions. This is a customer service driven position that will operate our operations booth. Will check our customers into our and out of our facility. Direct drivers in proper rotation to accomplish our pickup and drop off goals via two-way radio and GPS. Telephone skills are required to communicate with our customers and employees. Basic computer skills to use with our parking software. You are the first and last person our customers sees. We expect friendly smiles and a great attitude so the customer has a positive experience with us. These multi-tasking positions responsibilities include but are not limited to: checking customers in and out of our facility, record keeping, answering phone calls, dispatching our buses to and from the airport, and providing excellent customer service.
