Hi I am a developer and maker, I will need an intern to do 3D printing jobs. The Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate 3D printers (preferably Bambu Lab printers). • Conduct quantity production runs with quality control. • Perform maintenance and calibration of printers. • Convert sketches or design concepts into 3D CAD models (STEP files). • Collaborate on iterative design improvements and prototype testing. • (Optional but valuable) Assist with basic machining or welding tasks. Qualifications • Experience with 3D printing, especially using Bambu Lab printers. • Familiarity with CAD software such as FreeCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360. • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. • Ability to work in-person at our Hayward shop. • Bonus: Machining, welding, or mechanical fabrication experience. Compensation Hourly rate $22 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
