Full job description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to project timelines and budgets. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site personnel, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Communicate between the office and the field team. Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure project milestones are met. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship. Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations. Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Train and supervise site personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment. Troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the workflow. Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports. Requirements must be fluent in Mandarin and English knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus the ideal candidate will be working on the different construction job sties that are mostly in NYC. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Field Technician reports to the Jersey Shore Laboratory in Waretown, New Jersey. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record to drive to and from sampling locations using a company vehicle. The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour for a full-time, 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The primary responsibility of the Field Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations. Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools. Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next-day sample pickup. Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS: No prior experience is required, but interested candidates should have experience in roles that require detailed procedures, good communication skills with clients, outdoor work, as well as meeting daily deadlines. File cut edges to remove burrs and ensure safe, smooth finishes. Apply cold galvanizing compound to cut and filed areas to protect against corrosion. Assembly & Installation Support Assemble structural components using strut brackets, nuts, washers, and other hardware. Ensure assemblies meet project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret simple drawings or assembly diagrams. Strong attention to detail, with commitment to accuracy and safety. Physical ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
