CR England is looking to add drivers to their Kroger dedicated fleet! Drivers will run CO, Cheyenne, WY and Eastern Utah. Drivers are home every other night and get a 34 hour reset every week. Sometimes every other night when running to WY and UT. Drivers run top of the line equipment pulling dry van trailers. 100% no touch freight. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is advantageous. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Background check. Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Preventative maintenance and repair all systems on Semi-Trailers to meet the standards set forth by DOT. • Remove and replace brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, braces, and associated parts. • Repair electrical and lighting systems. • Repair or replace chassis components such as springs, spring hangers, equalizers, complete slider assemblies, axles, and sub frames. • Repair mud flap brackets and dolly leg assembly. • Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors, and door trim. • Repair roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails. • Conform to all safety and health standards Requirements. • The ability to lift up to 100 pounds. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and / or sit frequently. throughout the duration of the day. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Attention to detail and highly organized.
