DSPs help clients navigate outings by assisting with social norms, money management, social skills, and help them to engage in activities. The part that’s not all fun & games… DSPs are responsible for supporting clients that need assistance with daily living activities such as eating and using the restroom. Q-mapped DSPs give medication, provide first aid, administer G-tube feedings, and document according to ABLE’s policies and procedures.
