ShareNow Hiring: Compassionate Overnight Caregiver – One-on-One Home Care (Kenny Neighborhood, South Minneapolis) We are seeking a dedicated, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 40+ year old male with medical, physical, and intellectual challenges. The position is in a private home in the Kenny neighborhood of Minneapolis. The client is severely compromised in mobility and communication and requires hands-on assistance with all activities of daily living, including bathroom care, changing briefs, feeding, medications and transfers. Despite these challenges, he enjoys engaging with the world, attending appointments, and participating in social and recreational outings throughout the Twin Cities. Schedule & Pay The overnight shifts are 10 - 12 hours each – i.e. 10pm – 8am or 9pm – 9am, 3 nights/week. Preference will be given to applicants who are willing to work some weekend hours. Overnight staff are expected to be attuned to the needs of the client throughout the night, perform incontinence care and do general light housework, including a couple loads of laundry during the shift. Pay starts in the low $20’s per hour. This is not an agency. Work Environment You’ll be joining a kind, respectful, and supportive household with minimal staff turnover — many caregivers have been with the client for years.
