Underdogs Too, located a stones throw from Ocean Beach off of Taraval Street, is looking for energetic team players to join our Front of House staff. We are specifically looking for experienced Line Cooks and Prep Cooks. Our food is local, sustainable and we use only compostable materials for our packaging products. We feel we have a duty to supply fresh food to each customer, while also being environmentally conscious. We are very proud of our Surfrider Ocean Friendly certification! Medical & Dental benefits are available as well. What You'll Do: Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Mexican dishes following established recipes and quality standards. Manage a station (e.g., grill, sauté, prep) efficiently and accurately during peak service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist with food prep Communicate effectively with the Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a Mexican or Latin American restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a high-volume setting. Reliability and punctuality—we count on our team! A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
