What You’ll Do • Assemble electromechanical and electronic subassemblies (actuator modules, heating elements, wiring harnesses) using detailed work instructions • Unpack, pre-process components, clean parts, and stage materials for downstream assembly • Perform mechanical fastening, crimping, soldering, wire stripping, and gluing • Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure assemblies meet quality standards • Operate hand tools, torque drivers, and test fixtures safely and accurately • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures What We’re Looking For • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions carefully • Ability to work with your hands, possess fine motor skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics, electromechanical, or precision assembly (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with hand tools, torque drivers, soldering irons, and small power tools • Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and in teams • English proficiency required (spoken and written) • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods Details • $25-$30/hour • Short-term contract • On-site in San Francisco (SOMA), street parking only • Lunch provided daily, we’ll pay for parking • Tools and training provided • Contract times and requirements may vary depending on production needs • Work is not guaranteed for a specific duration.
