What You’ll Do • Assemble electromechanical and electronic subassemblies (actuator modules, heating elements, wiring harnesses) using detailed work instructions • Unpack, pre-process components, clean parts, and stage materials for downstream assembly • Perform mechanical fastening, crimping, soldering, wire stripping, and gluing • Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure assemblies meet quality standards • Operate hand tools, torque drivers, and test fixtures safely and accurately • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures What We’re Looking For • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions carefully • Ability to work with your hands, possess fine motor skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics, electromechanical, or precision assembly (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with hand tools, torque drivers, soldering irons, and small power tools • Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and in teams • English proficiency required (spoken and written) • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods Details • $25-$30/hour • Short-term contract • On-site in San Francisco (SOMA), street parking only • Lunch provided daily, we’ll pay for parking • Tools and training provided • Contract times and requirements may vary depending on production needs • Work is not guaranteed for a specific duration. Assignments may change or end early based on scheduling, output, or quality requirements Interview Process • Candidates will be invited to participate in a working interview at our facility. During the session: -- You’ll receive hands-on training on a specific manufacturing process. -- You’ll have time to practice the process under supervision. -- You’ll then be asked to complete a set number of actions within a set amount of time to demonstrate consistency, precision, and attention to detail. • If you meet the target, you’ll be invited to work the remainder of the day and continue on the contract. • If not, you’ll still be paid for your time during the working interview (at $25-$30/hr) but not asked to stay. This process helps ensure a great fit for both you and our production team while also respecting your time. YOUTH BASKETBALL COACH — WINTER 2026 (TEMPORARY / SEASONAL) Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) January 2026 – March 2026 OVERVIEW The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco is seeking enthusiastic and experienced basketball coaches for our youth program this winter. Applicants should have basketball coaching experience and/or strong basketball knowledge and experience working with children ages 5–12 years. The JCCSF youth sports philosophy, “Redefine the Score,” focuses on developing both sport-specific and life skills in a positive, fun atmosphere. RESPONSIBILITIES Create team goals aligned with JCCSF youth sports values. Plan and lead practices and games emphasizing skill development and positive reinforcement. Be consistently present for weekday practices and weekend games. Coach during game days: set lineups, make substitutions, and apply age-appropriate strategies. Learn and follow league rules and expectations. Communicate effectively with players, parents, other coaches, and supervisors. Perform other duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS Experience working with children ages 5–12. Knowledge of basketball fundamentals; prior youth coaching experience preferred. Familiarity with early childhood development is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable transportation to program locations. Availability for practices, games, trainings, and meetings throughout the season. WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor gym setting. Practices and games are held Monday–Sunday, typically between 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods. Lift up to 25 lbs.
