Job Title : Java Developer Location : Walnut Creek, CA Type : 6 + Months Rate : $Open (Best Possible) Job Responsibilities :– Drive the design, development and implementation of the core of our Java / J2EE technology platform and web services. Debug issues across multiple layers of the application stack. Drive code quality through unit testing and advocate test-driven development methodologies. Refactor and improve code quality, maintainability and scalability. Evaluate the adoption of new tools and technology. Interface with clients to discover, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. Lead projects and exert technical influence with team members, increase productivity and effectiveness by sharing domain knowledge and experience. Take ownership of all tasks assigned to you and tasks assigned to engineers working on your projects. REQUIREMENTS :- 6+ years of software development experience in Java/Java EE Extensive engineering experience and a proven track record in e-commerce, enterprise, high performance, large scale web technologies including cloud based APIs and protocols (REST, JSON). Thought leader, hands-on contributor, and decision maker known for solving difficult software engineering problems. Proficient in data structures, algorithms, design patterns and Object Oriented Programming. Experience with one of the major relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres) Excellent Java and J2EE coding skills. Experience in payments or high transactional systems. Experience with Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning and interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter Experience with Kafka, NoSQL database is a plus. Exposure to JBoss Fuse, Apache Camel or MuleSoft highly desired. Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools Docker, ECS, S3 etc. Experience building CI/CD pipeline with maven/jenkins/code pipeline. Proficient with API design, Strong in Spring framework and understanding of Microservices. Exposure to API Gateway (Apigee) is a huge plus. We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Technical Consultant with extensive experience in US Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP HR code development and a deep understanding of Core HR and Payroll modules. This role involves designing and developing custom HR-ABAP programs, working with PNP/PNPCE logical databases, and enhancing payroll processes. • Experience: 9-15 years in payroll technical consulting. • ABAP HR Development: Proficient in ABAP HR code development. • Custom Programs: Design and write HR-ABAP custom programs; modify standard programs as needed. • Database Programming: Experience with PNP/PNPCE logical databases and cluster programming for Core HR, payroll, and time management. • Core HR & Payroll Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Core HR and Payroll modules, including schemas, functions, and operations. • HR Tables/Clusters: Familiarity with HR, Core HR, and Payroll tables/clusters; experience in developing reports/BDC in the HR module. • Payroll Processes: Strong experience in Core HR and payroll processes, including preparing payroll reports. • Reports & Interfaces: Design and develop reports, interfaces, info types, and enhancements. • Team Development: Guide and develop team members to enhance their technical capabilities and productivity. • Forms Experience: Hands-on experience with SMART forms and HR forms. • User Exits & BAPIs: Proficient in user exits, BADi, and BAPI. • OOPS Concept: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. • Technical Documentation: Experience in requirement gathering, designing technical documents, unit testing, and code review. • Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience in payroll technical consulting with a focus on US Payroll. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Expanding business currently looking for workers (part or full time, preferential consideration given to full) who are interested in getting paid to assist in the examination, testing, cosmetic grading & repair, when necessary, of consumer electronics such as video games accessories (controllers, headsets, racing wheels & more), video game consoles, and other assorted consumer electronics. The job does not require a significant amount of experience however preferable candidates will have a basic knowledge of how to work consumer electronics one might find in the home. The position will require identifying an item's functionality, denoting if there's a deficiency in this regard, determining if the item is missing accompanying accessories, and prospectively performing some light repairs (training will be provided).
