We also have a thriving in-house Event & Catering program. Requirements and skills: -Resume and proven working experience as a PROFESSIONAL SERVER. Even though we are Casual Dining, we expect 10 steps of service details. -Excellent knowledge in garnishing and serving drinks AND WINE. -Computer literacy, we use ALOHA which is easily learned if you have experience on other POS systems. -Positive attitude and excellent communication skills -Ability to keep a section organized, stocked and clean -Relevant training certificate... Food Handler Card, and Sexual Harrassment Training Certificate, AND Any Wine Courses taken. ATwater Tavern is currently hiring for an experienced person. We are an upscale neighborhood tavern ON THE BAY. Classic American dishes with a modern twist. We are looking for STAFF with not only skills but also personality to go along with it. We have a small cocktails list and are very focused on our wine and whiskey program. Must have minimum 2 years experience working in fast-paced, high volume environment. Knowledge of Aloha a plus but not required. Knowledge of proper service for cocktail mixing, experience with classic cocktails, wine, whiskey and ability to sell and provide detailed information and recommendations to guests and serve food IN THE DINING ROOM and at the bar. -Availability is of Utmost Concern, OPEN AVAILABILITY: THURSDAY-FRIDAY-SATURDAY-SUNDAY -Attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. -MUST SPEAK ENGLISH -The experience to work well under pressure while maintaining a customer focus with an energetic and enthusiastic personality.
