Maintenance Technician Burbank, CA Full time Temp to hire Monday thru Friday - 6am to 2:30pm $22hr to $35hr depending on experience Busy manufacturing company and leading supplier of standard and custom hinges to the aerospace industry, specializing in a proprietary drilling technique to manufacture complex, close tolerance long hinge lengths at very tight tolerances across a variety of materials including titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and bronze is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities: • Machine shop experience. • Perform minor building, repairs as necessary. • Call HVAC technician, plumber, or electrician as required. • Implement preventative maintenance measures. • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. • Complete inspections of office and shop as needed. • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. • Perform other maintenance duties as requested. • Must be able to clock on and off jobs accurately in an electronic clocking system. • Must be able to read and understand manufacturing orders. • Ability to use and read various types of measuring equipment with a high degree of accuracy. • Must be able to operate various hand tools, tooling fixtures and machines, such as saws, grinders, drills, drill • presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears. • Must be able to work OT as required. • Must be punctual and reliable. • Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED required. • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted. • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including CNC machines, Mills and small hand tools. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Able to work well with minimal supervision. • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
