




Union Hall is looking for a Bar Manager / Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This role is hands-on and collaborative, helping guide our staff, shape the tone of service, and maintain the welcoming, energetic environment our guests expect. The Bar Manager works closely with the General Manager to support all aspects of daily operations, from staff leadership and guest experience to ordering, scheduling, and menu programming. The right candidate will take initiative, stay present on the floor, and help keep our systems running smoothly behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities - Lead and support FOH and BOH teams during service, ensuring smooth communication and consistency across all areas. - Work alongside the GM on operational decisions and guest service standards. - Contribute to staff development by fostering accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment. - Oversee supply and inventory management, ordering, and reconciliation. - Help implement and uphold service policies and operational procedures. - Monitor and support party bookings and events in our basement venue, ensuring needs are met without disrupting flow of service. - Communicate nightly outcomes and operational needs through End of Day reporting. - Ideal candidate is able to, and interested in, playing a large part in creative decision-making on menu programming, seasonal offerings, and day-to-day operational decisions. Schedule This is a full-time position, primarily Wednesday through Sunday evenings (with some flexibility based on candidate).
