Job Title: Caregiver for Dementia Patient (Part-Time) Pay: $17.70 - $18.00 per hour Location: Rio Vista, CA Job Description: We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and compassionate female caregiver for my mother, who has dementia. You will be assisting with her daily care needs, ensuring her health and safety, and providing support with the activities of daily living. Duties: * Support with medication management (ensure she takes medication daily) * Blood pressure management (keeping within designated range and measuring blood pressure accurately) * Fall prevention: providing support when walking * Encouraging activity: (helping her walk around the block, complete physical therapy exercises, and stay active) * Light housekeeping and laundry (keeping the house clean and tidy) * Meal prep (supporting her healthy diet and ensuring she has nutritious meals) * Provide general companionship and be a positive presence in her day Required: * Experience with dementia care is preferred—someone who understands the challenges of dementia and is patient and empathetic. * Reliability and dependability are non-negotiable. We need someone who shows up on time and can be trusted to follow a care plan. * Strong communication skills are essential. You must be able to follow instructions and keep us updated on any changes in my mom’s condition. * Comfort with light housekeeping and basic meal prep. * This is a part-time position, with a mix of daytime and late-night shifts available. * Ability to complete background check. * Social Security card.
