Salary: $100K-$119K Summary/Objective The project manager builds a CPM schedule and assures the projects are built on time and within budget, coordinates all budget activities concerned with the site grading and asphalt paving of construction projects. Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project from start to finish and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation. Establishes and maintains relationship with General Contractors / customers to obtain bid opportunities and insure quality work. Essential Functions Works with customers to obtain and bid work opportunities on construction of road and site construction projects in the public and private markets Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with construction of these projects. Establish project objectives and confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction challenges. Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget. Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings. Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer. Requisition supplies and materials to complete project. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients. Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling. Work with dispatcher to assign workers to construction sites to work on specified projects. Ability to track time and material and change orders Having a current base of relationships with customers such as General Contractors in past work experience is a plus Competencies Communication Proficiency. Position Overview The Program Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and execution of program objectives at the headquarters site. This role ensures strategic alignment between customer requirements and project deliverables, while overseeing all staffing, budgetary, and performance management activities. The Program Manager acts as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing program oversight across multiple technical disciplines and ensuring consistent service delivery in accordance with performance standards. Manage multidisciplinary teams across network operations, software development, cybersecurity, mobile device management, and customer support. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in program or project management within IT, defense, or healthcare environments. Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex, multi-site operations. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Certifications PMP certification required. ITIL, Agile, or other process management certifications preferred. We are seeking an experienced Aerial Construction Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of aerial Outside Plant (OSP)aerial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field crews, ensuring adherence to construction schedules and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our fiber network infrastructure, and we’re looking for someone with strong leadership, technical, and communication skills. This role also includes interpreting prepared plans and specifications in providing oversight of aerial construction projects, enforcing codes, ordinances, and construction techniques related to projects. This is a salaried position, with work times to be determined by the needs of the project and company. Responsibilities Perform a thorough review of incoming projects Ability to organize and coordinate workload to determine the priority of duties Maintain project tracking system (Fieldwire & Data Warehouse) to ensure field and upper management are up to date with project progress Oversee day-to-day OSP aerial construction operations including installation of fiber optic cable, strand placement, pole transfers, and make-ready work. Provide oversight, leadership, and mentorship to our field team Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, local/state/federal regulations, and safety requirements. Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to ensure effective crew and resource allocation Actively builds and maintains a positive partnership with GAC departments, customers, subcontractors, municipalities, and inspectors Hold weekly meetings with crews both internal and external to keep the team informed and address all issues Ensure field personnel is adhering to all company policies and procedures Work closely with local utility locating services and utility providers to ensure all utilities are marked Ensure all company safety practices are being adhered to in the field, not limited to PPE use.
