Saturday availability is a must! - Shifts start in the early morning (1:30/2am ) so arriving on time is very important. - Your shift could end around between 7:30 am-9am depending on daily load/season/traffic. Shifts are generally around 6-7 hours depending on the day. - Some days will require a faster pace than others. - You will be on your feet bending/reaching up and down from 2am to roughly 5am. - The remainder of your shift will be in spent delivering orders in one of our vans. Shift Duties: - Be on site, clocked in, and ready to start working at 1am - 2am. - Packing bread and pastries with care so not to damage product. - Loading delivery vans with product in an easily accessible manner. - Driving for roughly 5 hours around the North Shore and Boston. - Being courteous while operating bakery vehicles. - Attention to detail when using packing slips to pack orders properly. Applicant must: -Have prior driving experience with a cargo van - no CDL necessary. -Have a reliable phone with working GPS function (vans have included WIFI hot spot) -Be willing/able to learn about our products for identification. -Be a team player. -Be organized and able to multi-task. -Be able to lift up to 45lbs fairly consistently. -Be able to present his/her clean driving record - you can get this online from the RMV. -Be authorized to work in the US. COMPENSATION: All employees are paid a base wage (no less than minimum wage) and and additional bonus per paycheck which varies depending on how busy the bakery is. Right now, that bonus adds an additional $3.50+ per hour to each employee's paycheck. So, for example, employees making $18 per hour are taking home around $21+ per hour. Job Summary: The IPM Assistant will play a critical role in maintaining plant health through scouting, foliar sprays, root drenches and other IPM-related tasks. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently. Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm, includes holidays as needed unless PTO is approved. Key Responsibilities: Scout plants for signs of stress, pests and disease. Apply foliar sprays and root drenches accurately and safely. Wear full PPE for extended periods while performing tasks. Perform tasks at varying heights, including standing, bending and kneeling. Lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely. Participate in lift training and follow all safety protocols. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation preferred but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for long periods of time. Strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Ability to follow instruction and safety protocols closely. Comfortable wearing full PPE during shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bulk of the job is spent standing or walking, bending to the ground and reaching overhead, pulling carts on 4 wheel castors weighing over 50 lbs. 2.Lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. 3. Must pass respirator “fit” test. 4. Must pass respirator evaluation to be eligible for spray applications. 5. Employee will be exposed to the sun and/or high intensity lights. 6. Employee will work in a wet environment where clothes and footwear can become saturated. 7. Employee may be exposed to temperatures that can be at or 10-20 degrees above outside temperature. 8. Rolling, unrolling, and using irrigation hoses & high pressure hoses. 9. Applying fungicides using hand pulled sprayers. 10. Demonstrate a high degree of comfort interacting directly with Insects 11.Using hand lenses to count small insects 11 .
