MANHOLE CONSTRUCTION: STARTING AT $23.00-25.00 AN HOUR DOE All Star Labor and Staffing is now looking to hire a general labor for a manhole construction company in the Salem OR area. As a manhole construction worker, you will be assisting as a general labor doing general labor duties; mainly assisting as requested with the excavating, building, and connecting underground utility access points often for sewer or under water systems. As a general labor you are overseeing the top area of the sewers for any hazards, assisting with site cleanup, cutting material/handing tools as requested from the team with the end goal of transitioning into a manhole construction worker which will then be REQUIRED for you to go into sewers. KEY DUTIES: Inspections of drain systems, maintenance/repairs, upgrading systems, clean systems, new plumbing and other general labor duties. REQUIRMENTS: • Construction Experience • Driver’s License MUST BE ABLE TO: • Enter underground sewer systems (as needed) • Work in conditions that may involve exposure to strong or unpleasant smells • Working in confined spaces • Working in various weather conditions - rain or sunshine • Must be able to lift heavy materials - 50 lbs.
