PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Athenian School seeks an Upper School Engineering teacher to teach three sections for the spring semester, including two sections of Engineering and one section of Advanced Engineering. We are looking for an educator who will inspire students to think like engineers—curious, creative problem-solvers who design, build, test, and iterate. Candidates should be excited to collaborate on a curriculum that blends technical skills, hands-on making, and design thinking with real-world applications. We seek teachers with experience in engineering education, applied sciences, or related fields, and with the skills to guide students through both foundational and advanced engineering coursework. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree and prior experience teaching high school students are preferred. Expertise in areas such as robotics, CAD, electronics, fabrication, or programming is highly valued. The Office Manager will play a key role in managing dealership inventory, processing invoices, ordering vehicle parts, performing title clerk duties, and tracking expenses.
